Curwood Festival is an annual event held 4 days at the first week of June in Owosso, Michigan. The festival is celebrated by Owosso community to honor James Oliver Curwood, - a famous writer who always encouraged people to cherish the natural world around them. Moreover, this is also a traditional activity to raise money for the town and the people.
My goal is to attract younger adults by raising curiosity about the festival and its story. The representation of the natures in Curwood's novels and himself are layered as a series of collages, giving it a vibe of nostalgic but inquisitive. The sequence of posters tells different stories around the festival: Owosso Town, Curwood and his books & Curwood Queen. The festival logo was used on different promotional items such as bags, badges, website, etc.
